yknow when I said my last news post would be rendered incomplete by the time the spring livestream came around? yeah.

it's ARGONAVIS news roundup, but no pictures for everything because I'm too tired to look them up. orz

they announced a whole lot of updates both in terms of songs and in terms of the game itself, which are gonna be happening in the next few months, leading up to the half anniversary. this includes a rerun of the Start Dash gacha, what looks to me like an overhaul of the tutorial, campaigns, and some polishing up of the chibi section UI-wise. I'm not gonna go into super much detail, but up there's the schedule!

there will be a biiig voting happening for LR Fes Round 1! the top 3 winning bands will get accessories in the game, while the winning band gets a special album release AND the jacket art of that as AAside card(s), which is pretty dang neat.

perhaps more importantly, this voting will in fact affect the main story. we don't really know how yet though. I've seen plenty of people jump to conclusions that we'll just flat out vote the winner of LR Fes, but I doubt it'll be that simple considering the way the story has been right now. the way I see it, it'll mostly be about where the bands are standing in terms of popularity and how the characters deal with that, which could be reeaaaally interesting. like, imagine Shuu, who rly doesn't care about this festival, being the favourite. or Nayuta, who's here to win it all, getting anything below second ...

the way the voting works is you get a serial code with your purchase of JUNCTION/Y, merch, etc, and the albums released in July - worth 5 points each for the BD versions, 1 for the normal ones. speaking of which ...

we're finally getting the next numbered singles for bands that aren't Argonavis (seriously how did Gyro get an album before a second numbered single)! all of them release on July 14 and their BluRay versions will contain episodes of the anime. the songs are as follows:

• GYROAXIA: WITHOUT ME* / BREAK IT DOWN*
• Fantôme Iris: Zakuro / Kyouki no Melody

anime movie confirmed for 2022, and in 2021 we'll get a recap of the first season (tentatively called Prelude), which also was dubbed again and recut, so it's quite polished up from the original! that's pretty dang neat. there'll also be a new song for it ~

if you haven't seen Live Royal Fes 2020 (the Live, not the game event), now's your chance! tomorrow, on the 1st, at 18:00 JST, the whole thing will be streamed on YouTube! it's an excellent live don't miss it!!! (seriously it's very good if you're interested please watch it)

speaking of boys being cute and extremely powerful, Bushiroad is getting a new theme song, written & composed by none other than Itou Masahiro (Ren VA) and Hyuuga Daisuke (Yuuto VA), because they're just that talented and strong and I cannot believe this how are they this powerful DO YOU KNOW THE POTENTIAL THIS HAS. Bushi having acknowledged Masa & Hyuu as songwriters means we could have an Argonavis song WRITTEN BY ARGONAVIS MEMBERS. Hyuusuke already played the acoustic guitar in the Ryuuseiu recording ... I love it when they involve the seiyuu more in this stuff aaAAAAA--

SO you know that flute and piano version of LOUDER from Noble Rose pt 3? It’s beautiful and does things to my heart and the moment I heard it I wanted to play it with someone . . . and the lovely Hirondelle was kind enough to do the flute part! The fact that we have pretty much the same username on different platforms is really funny but probably confusing jdjfjfdj so yes this is Hirondelle’s YT and not mine haha. Anyway it was fun!

I've been slacking on posting ARGONAVIS news because frankly I just don't think anyone cares am tired, as in physically, but this one's a big one so I should address it!

with the last maintenance, AAside got a pretty big update! ... and then this post took me so long to finish they added more stuff after that. but hey, now it's all together!

• multi live (rip the "comming soon" on the live page. there's public and private rooms)
• titles given for various achievements and event rewards and stuff (I wouldn't be surprised if they restructured event rewards with how op those have been coughs, but they haven't done so yet)
• casual clothes to buy for the MV models of everyone except Argonavis (yknow cause Argonavis already had them uh)
• a new type of story that's sorta part of the main story and sorta not? they're "extra", so they're supposed to play in between the main story chapters, but ... having read the two that are out right now, they don't really feel like an additional thing as much as on the same level as the other chapters ghdkgh (also Nayuta was forced to watch a hero show with Ren, Ryou, & Haruka. I just need you to know that)
• a button to go from live results straight back to the song screen (thank you that's much more convenient I'm too used to GuruMiku)
• Golden Week campaign, go get those Navistones
• Update Celebration campaign (well it's mostly about the multi lives but shh) with Navistones as well as a ticket on the first day which you can exchange for any Initial card from 4* to 2*! (because this game hasn't been generous enough already. I got Fuuta what about you--)
• and uh they destroyed what I thought was a band order schedule by making this event epsiphi AGAIN. rip epsiphi oshi who've had cards from this band in gacha for four events straight now. pat pat.

they also once again announced they're preparing for a new event type so that's gonna be coming eventually!
