Pon-chan

• full of smiles. a slightly stupid and clumsy male puppy.
• picked up by Ren in a park when he got separated from everyone at the time they moved to Tokyo; now they’re keeping him in the sharehouse, where pets are allowed.
• everyone looks after him. the one who does the most is Ren.
• the one who named him was also Ren. the reason for it being, "he goes 'pon pon' when he runs".

Nyankotarou

• a female white cat with a sharp look in her eyes.
• lived together with Nayuta in Sapporo.
• a self-centered cat that resembles Nayuta.
• her name is read Nyan-kotarou.

Johnny

• a 20cm big male four-toed hedgehog.
• became Jun’s family when he quit his job. he came to Tokyo with Jun.
• shy like Jun, but has a gentle heart.
• lives in Jun’s room or the living room. he likes carrots.
• Jun was also the one who named him. the name comes from that of a guitarist he likes.

Rex

• a 40cm long male green iguana with an arrogant attitude.
• picked up by Yamato after coming to Tokyo, then became Misaki’s pet.
• they keep him in the living room. he likes sitting on Yamato’s cap and Misaki’s shoulder.
• doesn’t spare Kouhei much thought.
• Misaki gave him his name. given in the belief that he’ll someday turn into a dinosaur.

Paru-chan

• a male axolotl, 12cm long.
• he belongs to Kanata, but the one who takes care of him the most is Reiji.
• very photogenic. Kanata is the only one who says that he’s cute.
• Kanata named him. a play on words between uparupa and Haruka’s „haru“.
