on another note, now that the morfonica bs2 card pvs have come out, they’re very obviously more reminiscent of the other bs2 cards. that’s not a bad thing, i was just expecting it to like up more with the bs3 cards in terms of detail. so now my big question is why the bs3 art style for the trained cards is so simplistic versus the bs2 cards? i think it’s interesting for sure because it definitely felt like there was a unexpected quality drop between bs2 and bs3 for a majority of the bands (hhw did fine though imo).
