Rules for this challenge

Hey guys!

Almost forgetting, but here we are! Let's continue with two days!

Day 2: PoPiPa MVs + Bandori OVA

Nothing much to say about it, but let's go:

  • Yes! BanG_Dream!

This is probably the first time Bandori received an animation (as far as I know), so obviously it would not be the best one. And since I don't like yoo much this song of them, I really don't have anything relevant to talk; maybe that their animation was very strange (better than the 1st season CG, but it's still bad) and glasses-Rimi was something really cute to watch. But that's it...

  • Star Beat! ~ Hoshi no Kodou ~

This is the only completely animated MV of the first generation, and well, even not being the best animation of all, it's pretty decent, since this MV made me realize Star Beat! was my favorite Poppin'Party song. PoPiPa hanging out, and having fun with their trip is really comforting, and even don't liking too much the CG, the stage in the middle of the field brings a sensation of peace and calmness, and the idea of the day passing by during the MV was really nice too. Also, it's really cool the scene where they are walking in the field with white dresses, joining their hands and lifting them up, like they were throwing a star. The only problem I have is the unnecessary fanservice on the beach. All in all, it's my favorite MV!

  • On Our New Journey (Hashiri Hajimeta Bakari no Kimi ni)

To be honest, it's really weak. I like the idea of having solos, and each one of them playing on a blank space, but only Arisa and Tae had this honor (since it's not a complete MV), and Kasumi flying in the sky was really strange to me. Also, it's 100% CG, so the animation was really poor. But I like this music a lot, so yeah, it's still nice.

  • Teardrops

Nothing much to say, but it's cool the scene where they find themselves. And that's it. The rest of the MV is a live, so it doesn't count, I think... But the live was nice too. Sorry, not much to say about it.

  • OVA

Well, here we have a little more things to say. First, it's nice to see an interaction between PoPiPa and Roselia in a place out of the stage, and Ako and Sayo were hillarious playing volleyball. Also, Saya saying something SHE would like to do is nice too. And the If In August (Hachigatsu no If) MV was really beautiful too, even though the CG was bad (yes, I don't like this CG, don't judge me). All in all, it's a pretty silly OVA to watch, but it's funny.

Day 3: Pastel Life + Garupa☆PICO

  • Pastel Life

Silly. That's what I ca talk about it. It's just some random stories of Pastel*Palettes, but it's funny overall. Especially the episode where Aya wants to go out to be recognized as an idol, and the other when Hina dreamed of a perfect live with a perfect Aya (not that she isn't). That's it, watch it because it's really short.

  • Garupa☆PICO

Here things get more serious. Or not, it's Garupa☆PICO we're talking about. What can I say about this work of art? The animation of the year? This cult classic? This was the apex of geniality of the writers, bringing us a story with drama, comedy, thriller, romance, and every other genre you can think. Garupa☆PICO is a must-watch for everyone, and probably the best mini-anime I've ever watched.

Talking more serious now, this anime is fantastic, playing with the stereotypes of each character and making funny jokes and situations about it. It's reallly worth your time since it's funny as hell watching this. The 21th episode is my favorite, especially the last scene with Yukina, but we also have the 24th episode ("ONEE-CHAAAAAN!!!") and the 17th episode ("A-chan, are you watching???") are fantastic too. And we cannot forget the most important thing about it: the death counter! Characters dying in Garupa☆PICO are normal, and you will laugh about this probably (except for Marina, the forgotten heroine who died every single episode she appeared). All in all, it's really funny, and totally worth your time since it's short and it's free on YouTube (with subtitles)!

That's it for today! Until tomorrow, guys!
