tsugumi isn't very popular but i LOVE her so maybe this post will help you to appreciate or like her more!!!!! maybe ?

-it's thanks to her that afterglow began! when ran was separated from afterglow and put into a different class, afterglow could see she felt lonely and sad. and so tsugumi decided to start the band so they could be together!! angel..

-tsugumi isn't even that good at keyboard, but she wanted ran to be happy,, ANGEL

-tsugumi knows that she's the most ordinary and that the other members are more talented than her, and so she practices so hard that she makes herself sick. she does it so she doesn't bring down the others, she's so selfless and caring

-she helps out at the cafe, practices keyboard for the band, AND is in the student council! and she never asks for any help at all! ANGEL !!

This is a bit personal but please bear with my sentimental outburst.

So, this event. I've been a bit busy with my other game (of course GBF gets MagFes right in time for PasuPare! My gaming life in a nutshell) and was only able to catch up a bit now. Being a global only player, I went into this event story completely unprepared - and now I'm sitting here a sniffling mess because it's way too close to home. See, my own very favorite idol, the artist who sometimes quite literally saved my life with just her blog entries or lyrics, and always gives me so much strength through her songs, shares a name with Aya's "starting point". It doesn't help that Aya is my favorite bandori girl of them all, for all the things she is and is not. So this very idea of having to let go of the artist who defined so many of your ideals, and figuring out how to deal with it resonates heavily with me. I was reading most of the story on the train, but when Chapter 5 made it quite obvious what the other PasuPare members are going to do, I had to save the epilogue for when I was back home. Good thing I did.

People meeting their idols, the people they value so much for what they taught them... being able to tell them what their existence and work brought to life... It has been and will always be one of the things that will make me tear up like a fool. There's just something so very beautiful about it.

Here to spread some good vibes (°▽°)

(That’s what I say, but I just want an excuse to express my love for Afterglow.)

Afterglow immediately became my favorite band after starting the game, both in terms of its members and its music. I’m not a music expert, but I feel like Afterglow’s songs have much more variety compared to some of the other bands. For example, That is How I Roll! is a pretty intense song with rebellious lyrics, but then they also have Jamboree Journey, which is imo a cute and upbeat song that highlights the fun of hanging out with friends.

And then there’s the members... All of the other bands have characters that I’m not a huge fan of, but I adore all of Afterglow’s members. With Ran, I like how under the cool exterior, she’s actually easily embarrassed and shows that she cares about her friends through little gestures. Himari is just super sweet, and she’s that one dorky friend that everyone likes to tease. But I also like that they added another layer to her (which I hope they would explore more) when she feels like an incompetent leader at a few points in their band story. Moca seems like a dopey goofball, but she’s actually really perceptive and sensitive to other people’s feelings, and she really treasures her friends. Tomoe surprised me a little - I thought she’s the cool and collected big sister type (which she kinda is) but she’s also quick-tempered, which gives stories with her in it a nice little tension to them. And Tsugu... My best girl... initially, I was a little put off by her character description, that she’s the plainest member and all. I say that because in a lot of anime/games, the plain characters always try to pull some crazy/idiotic stunt to make them seem more “special” which just annoys me a lot tbh (I understand the motives behind their actions, but just the fact that they end up causing so much trouble for the other characters...). But Tsugu, this sweet girl, she acknowledges that she’s plain but isn’t constantly down in the dumps for that. Instead, she uses the fact to motivate herself to work hard and support the other members as well as she could. She has no qualms with just being herself, and she in turn encourages others to be themselves. AND I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH LIKE-

Why are all the girls so sad for the chapter 2 band stories

So there was this guy that I was sort of into.... Just sort of. He plays gacha games and osu, so we started talking about Bandori. Since he’s never played a rhythm game with gacha, I explained to him how cards and scoring works. Then he proceeded to comment that the girls existing in the game is just for fanservice and moe elements. And when I tried to explain that the stories actually have good plots and character development, he just went like, “uh-huh, sure” in that really sarcastic way.

Needless to say, any feelings I had for him flew away. I’m not dating any guys who can’t respect my girls.
