Kind of an appreciation post for Eve? With a bit of spoilers for some PasuPare events.

I’m not gonna lie, although I love PasuPare’s music, their members aren’t my favorites. Eve, especially, irked me a lot. In most stories, she just seemed to be there for the purpose of acting cute and cheery and mentioning something about bushido. I also really disliked that Eve-centric PasuPare event with the samurai themed cards. I thought that event made Eve seem really Mary Sue, with her wanting their fans to stop arguing, and her being the only one to step up and stop the fighting.

But the current PasuPare event reminded me of why Eve acts this way. Before, she worked alone as a model, and finally got a chance to work with other people. Unlike Chisato, who is a realist, Eve is extremely idealistic, but she’s the kind of person to actually pursue her ideals. That’s why, unlike the other members, she pushes extra hard to enjoy PasuPare activities and to keep them together. Aya is quite similar to Eve in terms of their personality, but Aya is more inexperienced and hesitant. Eve, on the other hand, has a clearer idea of what she wants, and given her experience, she’s more gutsy when pursuing her ideals.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I love the subtle differences that the writers put into what appears to be very similar characters. I just love the depth that each character has.

Do you know what the winners of ww election will get? They will get a set of illustrations with band on vacation. So let's see. Afterglow has Jamboree Journey, Pasupare has Survivor Never Give Up, harohapi has this new event with pirates, both popipa and roselia appeared in summer ova. However, roselia's sets are always professional, unlike other bands. Can I see my girls in something other than all those dresses? Thanks

Random though: Yukina talking with Kaoru because she heard something about little kittens, Kaoru just talk about how much she likes them, and how fleeting feels when she is with them, and Yukina thinks that Kaoru have a lot of kitties in her house

the whole "Hagumi vs Rin" thing is hilarious to me because you are all fools. Hagumi & Rin are FRIENDS and when they first met and realised how similar they are they bonded over that and now it's a running joke. sometimes they switch places to see if the others notice. Hagumi taught Rin all about softball and the bass while Rin made Hagumi an official member of the Protect Pana Squad. and whenever they meet up Hagumi makes sure to have croquettes to give her because she loves them. also Hagumi played the bass in all of Rin's solo songs and centers that had one. they would never fight except in sports

considering Hagumi's name sounds like "hug me" ... do you think she'd get along with Kisumi from Free!? since his whole thing is that his name sounds like "kiss me" lol
