hypmic tier list based on what bands the boys would stan!!

explanations:

  • rosho likes poppin'party's upbeat and energetic music; he listens to them during his free time and they help improve his mood + motivate him. you might think he'd be into hhw because of sasara, but he finds hhw to be kinda childish.
  • the buster bros stan afterglow bc of the friendship themes in their lyrics, which ties into their brotherly bonds. saburo was actually kind of a tough choice; i was considering him being a ras stan bc hes an edgelord but i settled with afterglow bc that's where his brothers are.
  • samatoki is a closet pasupare stan + garupa player; he got into their music thanks to nemu (and he really wants to kill their agency staff after reading their second band story). jyuto and riou are the only others who know about his bandori hobby. also he wasted all of his stars trying to get swimsuit aya but he didnt get her so he broke a chair
  • ramuda being a pasupare stan is a no-brainer tbh
  • jakurai is old and doesnt know how to play bandori, but he does listen to roselia's music during his free time (doppo introduced him to them). they're goth. he's goth
  • jyushi was also a no-brainer. you KNOW he would stan roselia. you KNOW he would cry over their second band story. you KNOW he would try to whale for yukina only for hitoya to say no
  • sasara was yet another no-brainer. resident clown man listens to circus music
  • ras generally has aggressive lyrics to go with aggressive music, so doppo headbangs to their music as an outlet for stress when hifumi isn't looking.
  • kuko just likes the vibes ras gives off
  • gentaro likes both roselia and morfonica because of their strong lyrics; i just put him in the morfonica tier bc there isnt really anyone else i envision as a morfonica stan ¯_(ツ)_/¯
  • hifumi doesn't stan any of the bands. all of the girls terrify him (even the completely harmless ones like rimi and kanon) and he once had a dream where moca stole all his food and broke his legs
  • rei is old and unfamiliar with newer music, while riou is kinda disconnected from society bc of his survival lifestyle so he doesn't listen to any of the bands' music
  • jyuto doesn't seem like the type who would be interested in teenage girl bands. he only knows about bandori bc samatoki plays garupa
  • dice is only into garupa for the gacha; the music isn't really something he's into
  • hitoya only knows about bandori bc of jyushi's roselia obsession; though he refuses to let jyushi whale for yukina

my dreams are so goddamn weird. last night i dreamed that llsif had a global exclusive collab with the backyardigans. the theme song was playable (the beatmap was REALLY hard for some reason, it was as hard as beat in angel) and you could scout for the characters.

in all seriousness i loved the backyardigans as a kid. pablo was my favorite

i had an....interesting dream last night. everyone in argonavis, makoto tachibana, and arashi narukami were incoming freshmen at sva (the college i’m going to). i tried to talk to ren (without coming off as a stalker) but he kept running away from me every time. i managed to befriend wataru though. also i danced with arashi somehow and it was wonderful.

i figured i'd make a bnha version of the "how much i relate to each character" tier lists!!!

explanations:

  • jirou is my spirit animal. snarky, tomboyish, kinda aloof and quiet at first, frequently teases the class idiot, initially cagey about interests.....we have way too much in common 0_o

  • satou is surprisingly relatable: likes to bake, generally quiet and doesnt talk unless he wants to, gets tired easily. sero likes to tease his friends (particularly bakugou)!! deku is a big nerd who gets excited talking about his interests but i'm not as dorky as he is. todoroki is kinda aloof and quiet, but he's prone to saying unintentionally funny things sometimes, albeit in a dry manner.

  • i'm nowhere near as angry as bakugou is, though i am pretty easy to annoy and i'm prone to lashing out when upset. tsuyu can be a bit blunt and isn't afraid to speak her mind, which applies to me most of the time.

  • the last two rows are self-explanatory :P
