MOOOORE appreciation posts incoming. This time for Misaki.

Her character development is just so sweet to me. At first, she was annoyed with HHW's antics (still kinda is, but it's more of an affectionate exasperation now), but she gradually began to enjoy band activities. When her classmates remarked that HHW and its members are weird, she jumped to defend her band and just wanted them to see how amazing they are and I was just??? For someone who didn't want to be associated with the eccentric members, it's just a huge leap for her to defend HHW.

And despite her being always so done with Kokoro, Hagumi, and Kaoru, she's still able to see their charms. With Hagumi, Misaki saw that she's actually a sensitive girl, and went through the trouble to encourage Hagumi to win the sports festival. She also saw that beneath Kaoru's flair, she's actually a genuinely kind and thoughtful person to everyone around her.

Her development is actually kinda relatable to me. I have a group of close friends who I initially didn't like much when I first met them, but it's been almost ten years since we've been friends, and I love and appreciate them so much now. It's just realistic to me for Misaki to not like HHW much, but to eventually have them grow on her.
