Ok so... I want some help.

I have never gotten into the Love Live franchise. I've never watched the anime, read the manga, nor played the game. Now, with the release of the Love Live All Stars game, I've been interested in finally trying the series out for myself.

But then there's also the Revue Starlight series. I never watched the anime, but I have played the game for a short period of time. However, I sort of struggled to get into the game; I just felt like there was too much happening and too much to do, and I also struggled to get invested in any of the girls that weren't from Seisho, so I dropped it. Although, I've been thinking recently about giving it a second chance.

If any of you guys have played the Revue Starlight or Love Live games (or both), which one should I choose?
