and now, Ep.4: Hardship as a Gift - an Invitation from Above

Kaoru quoted: Lord Krishna once said:

When I wish to bestow My Special Graces upon some devotee, I snatch away their worldly luxuries.

Hagumi: sob

Kaoru continued: O my dear little kitten, don't be sad anymore. Lemme remind you of a story, so you can easily understand it.

and then, Kokoro invited you to float across the sky happily.

Kaoru said: O my dear little kitten, in the same way, the Supreme Personality of Godhead gives us so many gifts that we take for granted. The earth we walk upon, the sunlight and heat we receive, the air that we breathe, the water we drink, and we forget that Personality from whom all these gifts are coming.

And sometimes, the Supreme God knocks us on the head to remind us that to enjoy here was not the end-all of life. We have a higher purpose, to serve Krishna and be back to His Above.

O my dear little kittens, hardship is the greatest reminder of those who attach too much to worldly stuffs. Blessed are those who have that reminder. That is my opinion.
