Why does it take 2 years for the Bandori girls to move up a grade? Here are two of my theories:

- The Bandori universe is completely different from ours

My guess is all the girls live in a different universe, and the planets in their solar system must orbit their sun-equivalent star twice to make it a year. In other words, the year is 24 months long, therefore double the birthdays, holidays, and school days.

- The Bandori girls live on the same planet as us

Ok, lemme explain. I feel like after the anniversary of the game comes around, we go back one year, but experience the same timeline from a different perspective. Like how we saw in the "Flowery June Bride" event, we were only with Eve, Kasumi, Tsugu, Ran, and Arisa. Then there was the Bride Roselia event, which started at the same time as the June Bride one, except now we're with Roselia
