Something really weird happened today.

So today was a regular Thursday, and we got to go off-campus (like going outside of school and buying food there). I didn't go, but my friend went to this Asian Market according to her. We'll call her A. That happened and then my class had French. We sat in our desks, my other two friends across us—we'll call them B and C—and we began working on our reading comprehension when I heard somebody freaking out. Apparently they found out A went to the said market and assumed she has the coronavirus. Suddenly the whole class began freaking out, at that time I didn't know what the heck was going on. C was really angry and told all of us that just because the virus originated in China doesn't mean all Chinese people become infected, and they have as much the right to be a citizen as others would.

What do you think about this situation? I just think this will be a moment I'll never forget.

27/4/21 Edit: Seeing this over a year later…I can't help but compare what was happening then to now. We're getting better here and I hope it stays that way.
