Biased? What? No, it can’t be! Bias, what is that? Ya boi have never heard of it.

I intended to keep these rankings short, however, I am devoted, so I had to... This is the only ranking in my “One Week Challenge” that I made a detailed explanation for some of my choices because I’m totally NOT biased towards Roselia. Nuh uh, no way.

“One Week Challenge” - Day 3: Roselia

• Overall Band Ranking in the Franchise: First (1/7)

Character Ranking

1. Lisa Imai (今井 リサ): Lisacchi (You can blame Hina for making me use this name to address her) would’ve been my best girl in the whole Bandori franchise, but a certain fuwa fuwa pink idol had to say “No, I don’t think so” LMAO. It’s extremely close between the two of them, but I still have to put Lisacchi as my number two girl as much as it pains me to do so. (I’m sorry, my baby, please forgive me!) I love her cat-like mouth so damn much. Whoever thought of that idea at Bushimo was an effing genius LOL! You’ll forever be the kindest, most caring, gorgeous, and stylish girl in the whole franchise! Lisacchi, I love you so much! <3
2. Yukina Minato (湊 友希那): Yukina has the best happy expression in the whole franchise. Don’t y'all @ me. You know it’s true. Have you seen her smile at the end of “Noble Rose - A Song, an Extreme -”? Bruh, I almost died when I saw it. I really like how underneath her serious exterior, she’s just a clueless, but adorable girl that must be protected at all costs! I love this girl so much!
3. Sayo Hikawa (氷川 紗夜): I ship her and Lisacchi so damn much… Her interactions with Lisacchi are so wholesome and cute! I need a doctor to prescribe medicine to cure my diabetes whenever they interact LOL. Sayo’s character development has to be one of, if not the best, in the whole franchise. There's no debating on that, my homies.
4. Rinko Shirogane (白金 燐子): You know, when I first got into the series, I didn’t care too much about Rinrin at all to be completely honest. However, as I keep falling deeper and deeper into the Bandori hell; I don’t know when exactly, but Rinrin started to rise higher and higher on my list and I’ve been liking her more and more ever since. She’s currently my eleventh best girl and I wish I could put her higher, I really do, but it’s hella hard to make room on my established top 10 list to include her in there. Honestly, number 11 out of 35 is not bad at all and I sometimes even treat her as if she’s one of my top 5 best girls. I hope I don’t get reported for saying this, but I love her huge “assets”, if y’all know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). As an oppai connoisseur (it’s in my username after all), no bait, mate, but I rate her “assets” an 8/8. (Sorry, I had to...)
5. Ako Udagawa (宇田川 あこ): DarkLordAko, if you’re reading, I’m sorry, but someone has to be last… I don’t hate Ako, it’s just that I like the other four Roselia girls better. Can I give mad props to Ako for her fantastic drumming in “Neo-Aspect” and “Song I am.”? Those were lit!

Seiyuu Ranking

1. Yuki Nakashima (中島 由貴): Yukki is cute and talented, what more do I need to say? I’m a huge simp for Yukki! Bruh, I can’t unsee the "cat-like" smile she can do (thanks Reddit)! She’s so damn cute, man… I want to marry Yukki if I could (hell, most guys would want to as well LMAO)!
2. Aina Aiba (相羽 あいな): Besides having a powerful voice and being a former wrestler apparently, AiAi is just hilarious! She’s the total opposite of Yukina, but that’s what makes her performance as Yukina so damn amazing! I want to see some more of the Bandori TV skits where she teaches “English”. Those were comedy gold!
3. Kanon Shizaki (志崎 樺音): I love Non-chan! Non-chan wa saikou daze! I know her role as Rinrin is great and all, but can I praise her role as Rei-tan in D4DJ even more? She’s absolutely killing it as Rei-tan! <3
4. Haruka Kudou (工藤 晴香): Kudoharu is such a troll and I love it! Just like AiAi, she’s totally different from her character, which makes it amazing that she can pull off the role of Sayo extremely well.
5. Megu Sakuragawa (櫻川 めぐ): Again, just like Ako, I love have nothing against Megucchi, but someone has to be last… I’m sorry it had to be her.

Top 10 Original Songs

1. Neo-Aspect: This is my favorite Bandori song! Period. This song is what got me to fall into the Bandori hell in the first place. When I went to Japan with my friends during winter of 2018, I heard this song many times in the streets of Akihabara. I was like “Damn, I have no idea where that song is from, but it sounds so dope! I’m definitely gonna check out the series called 'BanG Dream!' when I go back to the U.S.” Everything about this song is just so beautiful. The “Neo-Aspect” event was the very first event I decided to seriously tier in and I was extremely glad to get a [Top 1,000] title for it (I was a F2P back then). Yo, still to this day, I can’t stop fanboying how badass and dope the “Neo-Aspect” login title screen is. During the Roselia band story event, once I ran out of flames from tiering, I legit reloaded to the login title screen to listen to the instrumental of this song. Damn it, Bushimo, when are you going to release the actual instrumental of this song, so I can use it as my ringtone...

2. Song I am.: If you saw my post about my rank 41 finish on my [Top 100] run for “Noble Rose - A Song, an Extreme -”, you know why this song is this high on the ranking. This song has the most majestic and divine ending of any song in this franchise. I still can’t stop fanboying about the ♪ Tsuyoku, atsuku, todokeyo hate made ♪ ♪ LOUDER!!!!! LOUDER!!!!! ♪ part. Bruh, I know a Roselia trash I am, but this song is just god I am. (Mic Drop) Alright, I will just walk myself out… Actually no, I’m quite proud of that crappy “Song I am.” joke! XD
3. ZEAL of proud: Ah yes, my latest obsession... You know, I lost count of how many times I listened to this song already. And it ain’t stopping anytime soon, I’ll tell you that much. Hey, what can I say, this song is just THAT good! Obligatory insert of the catchiest parts of the song: ♪ Light will take us to the right place ♪ ♪ Keep going, going on the road ♪ x2
4. Ringing Bloom: This is the best Roselia original song and possibly the best song in the whole franchise for me. However, being the best and being someone’s favorite is totally different and does not equate to the same thing. A song can be the best, but can also be placed lower than someone’s favorite in the ranking if that makes sense to y’all. That’s what I’m trying to say here with “Neo-Aspect”, for example, being higher than “Ringing Bloom” on my rankings. Honestly, all four songs I have in my top 4 are interchangeable for being the best and if you have any of them on your lists as the best Roselia song, I will give you my seal of approval.
5. PASSIONATE ANTHEM: I swear man, this is absolutely the most underrated Roselia song ever. I never hear people talking about this song. Just give this song a shot, I promise you won’t regret it. “PASSIONATE ANTHEM” is a straight banger!
6. Determination Symphony: This song deserves to be rated higher than it normally does on other people’s lists. Yo, can I just praise Sayo’s guitar solo in the beginning of the song?! That is the most badass and dope sh*t I’ve ever heard! Fun fact: I have the instrumental version of this song as my ringtone.
7. BRAVE JEWEL: This song’s lyrics are probably the most inspirational out of any song in the franchise in my opinion. I’m a sucker for lyrics that tell people to not give up and persevere. When I watched the live version of “BRAVE JEWEL” on YouTube the first time, I was stunned for a few seconds when the other four members sang their lines. I don’t know what it is, but that was just marvelous and it got me more than it should have.
8. R: What makes me rank “R” so highly is it being a symbolization of a new chapter for Roselia (post Akeshan and Yurishii). I know it’s sad to move on from their old members, but this song symbolizes that Roselia will continue to move forward with their activities with their new members. There are two versions of this song: One with Non-chan and one with Akeshan. The current version with Non-chan symbolizes the new chapter for Roselia. This song is another one where the final part of the song hits like a truck. I’ll let the lyrics speak for itself: ♪ Kizuna no bara yo utsukushiku ♪ ♪ (Hana hiraku toki) ♪ ♪ Watashitachi no monogatari ga ♪ ♪ (Mata hajimaru no...) ♪ [Translations: The bonds of the rose are beautiful (when it blooms). 9. LOUDER: “Why is this song this high?” you might ask. Simple. It’s because this song is a classic. “LOUDER” is the predecessor of “Song I am.”, so it has to be on the top 10 list for me. Another fun fact: I have the instrumental version of this song as my alarm.
10. Avant-garde HISTORY: This song is just grand! My lord, Sayo, you need to chill. You’re murdering everyone with your guitar! XD I still can’t believe in the anime, this amazing song was written by none other than Sayo mother effing Hikawa herself!
