So, it's been a year since I got into bandori, huh. For someone like me, who generally loses interest in things after maybe 6 months at most, that's pretty impressive.

I guess I should start off explaining this drawing here. It's pretty simple, and a bit silly. Misakanon was my first favorite bandori ship, as well as the ship that got me into the game! Kanon was also my first favorite character, as some of you may remember from when I first started posting on here. But since then, I've got a new favorite character and many new favorite ships (with the one here being one of my highest favorites). So of course I'm drawing haguyuki, its basically my favorite ship right now, and Hagumi is my favorite character! So basically... misakanon passing the lead to haguyuki.

Coincidentally, all four of these girls are on the very first page of bandori doodles I did. Look at how much I've improved since then though, wow. image Bandori really got me to experiment with character shapes a bunch, and my art has just been continuously improving over the past year in little ways like that. The girls are just fun to draw, even if I tend to draw the same few repeatedly.

Anyway, it's kinda a big deal that I've stayed interested this long. Normally, I'm used to getting into something and it being a one and done experience, nothing more to gain any time soon. Bandori is different, with the events always building on the characters, and now even more characters than before! And it's a really nice experience. Plus, as a lesbian looking for anywhere to get an actually substantial amount of wlw content, this series was a blessing, since like. You can't exactly get other kinds of ships out of this without genderbending, and that seems to be pretty rare. But let's face it, as much as I love shipping, I'm much more invested in good characters, and bandori delivers on that and more. Combined with more content practically weekly, and a really fun game, it's kept me here this long!

And of course, the community is pretty cool. I was honestly prepared to sit in my little lonely corner without anyone else to talk to about this stuff, and my posts here were kinda just me yelling into the void for a while, or tossing occasional content out in hopes that people would pay attention. But at least I had a specific place to do it, lol. Recently though, lurking alone in my corner of bandori hasn't entirely been the case, since I've actually gotten to know some other fans better now :D It's pretty great, being able to talk about stuff and have others understand. As much as I love my irl friends, I'm pretty sure I confuse them a lot when I get into new stuff, so it's nice having friends that won't be completely lost if I start rambling about characters.

Now, I think I'm running out of things to say. Thank you again to everyone who has made this past year so much fun, and hopefully I'll still be here in another year to do this again!
