Very good Tsugu! I think I'll share exactly how I pick my mode (difficulty) in Mult-Lives, in descending order of priority:

1. I refuse to pick 26+ Expert if I'm on my phone.
2. I never pick a mode higher than everyone else. As for why I do this, it's solely so that I can have direct comparison of skill between other players.
3. I wait until someone pick expert, in which case I pick expert. If no one picked expert, refer to 2.
4. Otherwise, if everyone else picked Hard or lower and someone seem to be waiting for me to pick a mode, I pick Hard, NOT Expert
